How to Save Money on Household Cleaning Products
Don’t need all things to be labeled “antibacterial” and if you overuse such products, antibiotic resistant bacteria may start to emerge and reduce the effectiveness of the cleaning products. Instead, ConsumerReports.org suggests that an essential cleaning product for your home is a simple, all-purpose cleaner like vinegar, ammonia or baking soda.
Name brands such as Comet were shown to do an excellent job with removing soap and shower scum in the bathroom as well as on sinks and countertops throughout the entire home. If you own stainless steel appliances, the best product to use to help save money is undiluted liquid dish soap rather than any special stainless steel product cleaners. The dish soap was shown to work just as well as the expensive cleaning products but does not cost you nearly as much.
